An evening of Music & Merriment, which was hosted by David and June Millard at Emblems Farm in August, raised over £5,000 for Dorothy House Hospice.
The evening started with a welcome drink, hog roast and desserts provided by the Frome Friends of Dorothy House group. Entertainment was provided by various local artistes.
There was a raffle and auction, with a total of £4,400 being raised during the evening. Barclays Bank has also promised to fund match another £1,000.

The next event by the Frome Friends group will be a Bingo Night on Friday 9th October at The Venue, Frome Football Club.
