Selwood Academy staff and students were delighted to reopen their school library this month, after it had to be closed due to the pandemic.
The school reports, “It was so lovely to see our library bustling again with pupils choosing books and having literacy lessons this week. The newly refreshed library has a good selection of new and kindly donated books from parents – our library has certainly benefitted from lockdown decluttering! Thank you to all those families who think of us when their books need a new home. A big thank you to Mr Brooks, Mr McPherson, Mrs Patterson, Mrs Wingrove and the cleaning staff for all their hard work in helping to transform a classroom back into the Library.”
