Residents of Selwood Road braved the winter weather recently and created their own outdoor cinema on the street.
The screen and projector were provided by VJ Ultra and the sound was provided by Badger Farcue – both residents on the street. Other residents also contributed mulled wine, popcorn and freshly-baked pizzas.
Adam Baylis said, “The event was free to attend and a roaring success. Friends and neighbours, of all ages, attended for a drink and a chat. And, whilst it threatened to rain, some strategically-placed umbrellas and lots of warm clothes ensured a good time was had by all.
“Many people said that they would be keen to do it again. So if you’re local to the area keep your eyes out.”
