VOLUNTEER organisation ‘You Can Do Services’ is hosting a discussion group to find out more about people’s understanding of transport services available in the local area.
At the event they will map out existing transport provision, understand what issues people perceive there to be and find out what would help them. The information gathered will be made available to their partners to assist them in their transport planning work.
There will also be an opportunity for attendees to learn more about the local transport services they may not be aware of.
Anybody over 50 who is not currently volunteering is welcome to come along to the discussion group.
The event is being held on Friday 9th June at the Frome Football Club. It starts at 10.30am and will aim to finish by 2.30pm. Light refreshments and lunch will be provided.
