SHARED Earth Learning has expressed gratitude following an outpouring of support after their forest school site was vandalised.
“Thanks to your donations we’ve bought the material to fix our polytunnel,” said co-director Alex Hart. “Now we hope to find ten willing volunteers to help with the repairs.”
The charitable forest school asked for support after their polytunnel was vandalised and gardening tools were stolen. “We want to say a massive thanks to everyone who offered their support, kind words, and generous donations. Almost £500 was donated by members of the public in less than a week,” said Alex.
“We hope that volunteers might come join us to help and see what we do in our outdoor learning space at Vallis Veg. We have a volunteer day on Saturday 23rd September where we will need help with gardening and site maintenance. Please contact us if you can join us so that we can confirm numbers. We need at least ten people to help us out – please get in touch if you could be one of them!”
