A 30-minute silent vigil to pay respects to those experiencing conflict around the world will take place at 12pm each Saturday through December at St Mary’s Church at Innox Hill.
The organisers say, “Please join us each Saturday at noon throughout December. There will be a 30-minute silent vigil, to pause, reflect and hold in our thoughts and hearts those parts of our world where there is conflict, injustice and unrest.
“The power of collective silence is unfathomable. We will sit in a circle, a single candle in our midst, and offer our love to where it is most needed. People of all faiths and none are welcome to join us. Please try to arrive in time for the start, at 12pm. Use the Innox Hill entrance to access the church.”
