SNOOKER returned to Chester House Social Club this month.
The club reports, “The first Saturday night snooker event since reopening after the pandemic attracted the maximum number of 16 players.
“Matt Langdon won his first event to prove non-league players can win these events. He won the close final on the pink against Mark Philipps.
“The table winners on the night were Table 1 Mark Philipps; Table 2 Darren Searle; Table 3 Matt Langdon; and Table 4 Dan Worsley.
“The enjoyable evening included a tasty supper provided by Jackie and thanks are due to her and all members taking part.

“Chester House Social Club is in Christchurch Street West, Frome and welcomes snooker players to join the club and make use of the four full size snooker tables available.
“The club is open weekday evenings, Saturday afternoon and evenings and Sunday afternoons.”
