FROME boxer, Ryan Wheeler, remains undefeated after recording his tenth successive win in front of a strong following of fans, who had made the trip to Bristol City’s Ashton Gate stadium to support their home-grown boxer.
In his tenth professional fight, Wheeler faced a tough test against Jamie Speight, two-time Southern Area champion. On his Instagram page, Ryan said, “Last night I gave it everything. Didn’t manage to get the stoppage but most importantly got the win. Big respect to my opponent Jamie Speight who took everything I threw at him.
“Can’t wait to get back in the gym and discuss future plans with my team. Massive thank you to everyone who travelled out to support me and my sponsors who back me throughout training camp.”
The ’Somerset Stallion’ now has his sights set on domestic titles in the near future.
