A VISIT from Flash Back Theatre Company went down a storm at a recent meeting of Frome’s PACE group.
Group organiser Carol Harper reports, “The Flash Back Theatre Company put on a fantastic show for PACE and our invited guests. ‘Flash Back’ is performed by the talented duo Faye and Phoebe who sang, danced and acted out a story accompanied by some of the greatest ever popular songs.
“They have entertained PACE before, but this time we invited former staff members and volunteers as well as Bob Cannings and colleagues from the Roddenbury Residents Social group. This was our way of thanking them for supporting our Macmillan Fund Raiser in September.
“Everyone was encouraged to participate according to their personal comfort zone; some of the staff and volunteers got to their feet for a dance, and our treasurer David Roy showed us how to jive.
“We all sang our hearts out to some of the greatest hits from the likes of Elvis, Abba, Tom Jones as well as some golden oldies. We are all young at heart when there’s laughter, singing and good company to share. That’s what PACE is all about.”
