FROME Inner Wheel, a charity whose members raise funds and donate time to help the local community, have donated to many local good causes over the past year, and have ‘hopefully helped to bring a smile to many faces’.
A spokesperson said, “Along with the fundraising, we also have fun times, taking part in skittles matches, meeting up for lunches and afternoon teas, all with other local Inner Wheel clubs. We’ve also hosted a Carols and Candlelight dinner in aid of charity, with Rotary members and friends joining us for lots of laughter and singing.
“A Soup and Puds lunchtime event is being held this month in aid of international good causes.
“Our president Sheridan Curtis represents the club at Remembrance Day and other community events and our aim for 2023 is to continue with fundraising and donating to worthy causes and helping wherever we can.”
Inner Wheel also supports international charities and good causes. New members are always welcome.
