LOCAL sponsors are being sought by Frome’s Casey Sparey as he prepares to compete in his second season of the Cool Fab British Mini Bike Championship 2020. This championship is designed to help riders progress from grass roots level to the Grand Prix stage.
His team say, “The 12 year-old Frome schoolboy competed last year in his first season on an AC40 Rookie factory ride bike. This superb first year saw Casey on the podium, producing an overall weekend win and a podium, two 1st placed and runner-up finishes.
“But to keep racing Casey needs funds. So much in racing is down to the equipment and fees. Raising the money you need to race for a season is the biggest challenge for anyone who wants a career in any kind of motor racing. It can cost thousands starting out. The only way you get to race in any championship for free is if you get recognised in the sport.
“Casey is tipped as a future star. If any local individuals or companies are interested in sponsoring him they are asked to get in touch via Sophie_davies @hotmail.co.uk
