A CARE home in Frome welcomed children from a nearby school to celebrate Care Home Open Day recently.
Residents at Critchill Court enjoyed a visit from pupils from Trinity Church of England First School last month. The home organised a teddy bears’ picnic for the residents, pupils and visitors, with authentic brown paper lunch bags filled with picnic style treats.
Speaking on the event, deputy manager Victoria Hughes-Jones said, “It was so lovely to see the school children and residents enjoying lunch together. The day was wonderful for everyone involved and we would like to thank the school for joining us and making it so special.
“The doors to Critchill Court are always open for anyone wishing to take a look around or to join us for a slice of cake and a cup of tea or coffee.”
