STAFF at Bellevue Veterinary Clinic are gearing up for their Charity Fun Day, which will be held on Saturday 25th July, 12noon – 4.00pm.
Back by popular demand and because of last year’s success, the clinic in Trudoxhill is opening its stable doors and gates once again to raise money for SPANA and The Cinnamon Trust.
The practice likes to support The Cinnamon Trust because it’s the only UK charity dedicated to helping the elderly continue to enjoy the company of their pets. They also support SPANA, an international animal welfare charity which provides care for sick and injured working animals.
Practice owner David Francis said, “We were amazed by the turn out last year and managed to raise over £1,500 for charity. We are hoping to see the same faces and many more.”
A special appearance will also be made by the newly born donkeys which have been living happily at the practice.
Other activities will include face painting, tombola, family dog show and dog agility. You can also meet and pet animals in their stable yard. There will also be a bouncy castle for children and adults, pony rides, working heavy horses, refreshments, barbecue, ice-creams, stalls selling local crafts and produce, bird of prey display, and much more.
Bellevue Veterinary Clinic say, “Entry is free and all funds raised will go to our chosen charities. We hope you will join us for fun in the countryside with friends, family and of course the dogs.”
