We Hear You (formerly known as Positive Action on Cancer) is delighted to announce the re-opening of The Good Gallery.
The Good Gallery has returned to Frome on a permanent basis following a pilot by the charity earlier this year. The shop showcases work by local artists, providing them with an outlet for their creative work, whilst at the same time helping to support We Hear You’s cancer counselling service. All the commission from sales in the Gallery will go to We Hear You, helping the charity to provide its free, professional counselling service.
Not only will people be able to purchase a diverse range of beautifully handcrafted items they will be helping a Frome cancer charity as they shop.
Melissa Hillier, Director said, “We are so pleased to have found The Good Gallery a new home, this is truly a charity shop with a difference. People can buy the most beautiful products ranging from small gift items to larger pictures and ornaments all the time knowing that all the commission from each sale will be going to helping people who have been touched by cancer”.
Debbie Cripps, Curator of The Good Gallery, “We had such a warm welcome from the whole community when we ran our pilot Gallery. It is brilliant to be able to offer local artists a more permanent venue to sell their work whilst supporting a good cause. We’ll be featuring new artists every month and we are looking forward to welcoming visitors – old and new!”
