As part of Wessex Counselling’s fundraising and awareness ‘Wessex Week’ (17th – 22nd November), local country-funk band The Gunville Flats will be performing a benefit gig at The Cornerhouse, Frome on Friday 21st November.
Jane Bennett from Wessex Counselling said, “Our new Wessex Week initiative has really captured people’s imaginations. We were delighted to be contacted by the band offering to play for our benefit, and Martin at The Cornerhouse has been a great help getting this set up for us.”
Entry to the event is free but people will be able to make a contribution towards Wessex Counselling to help them offer subsidised, and in some cases free, counselling to local people on low incomes in need of the service.
Other events during Wessex Week include a Pop-Up Market at the Round Tower on 21st/22nd November and the ‘Cake for Counselling’ scheme. For more details Wessex Counselling can be contacted on 01373 453355 or office@wessexcounselling .co.uk
