PROFESSIONAL boxing returns to Frome after two years with local boxer, Ryan Wheeler, taking on Spain’s Jose Ramos Savin, on Friday 19th July.
Two undefeated fighters go head to head in a bout that brings boxing home to Frome at the Cheese and Grain.
Ryan ‘The Somerset Stallion’ Wheeler will put on a show for the home crowds, looking for his 16th win whilst aiming for his first knockout.
Jose Ramos Savin from Spain is coming to Frome off a draw against fellow Spaniard Antonio Rodriguez but is also hungry for his fifth win.
Ryan Wheeler said, “This is my toughest fight yet against another undefeated fighter. It’s two years since I last boxed in Frome and the atmosphere was incredible. I have always dreamed of boxing in my hometown and I now have the chance to do it again! I would love to have as much support as possible.”
The undercard also promises big blows as Anton Haskins of Bristol makes his pro debut against Aaron Sutton of Bristol.
Doors open at 7.30pm, boxing starting at 8pm.
Tickets are available now from Ryan on 07518 866425 or at The Trainstation Gym Frome or The Old Bath Arms. Tickets are £35 for unreserved seating or £65 for a ringside table. Pack the rafters with support for Ryan as he puts Frome on the boxing map!
