JELLYFISH Theatre will be rolling up to Frome Festival with their joyful new outdoor show, ‘The Wagon of Dreams: a new Adventure’.
Performances take place by the bandstand at Victoria Park, Frome on Thursday 7th and Friday 8th July at 4.30pm. There’s no need to book and admission is free.
Jellyfish Theatre created the show in a field just outside Frome.
“Come and meet the outrageous mermaids and fantastical sea creatures who embark on an exciting ocean adventure in the Wagon of Dreams,” says director, Sarah Simpson. “This is a playful, inventive show, set outdoors, on and around a retro caravan: packed with puppetry, music and laughter.
“After the last couple of years, we all need some joy, and nobody more than young children, their families and carers. This family show is best suited for children aged 4 – 8. It lasts 55 minutes. Bring a mat or blanket to sit on.
“We love working outside. We built another wall on the barn this year to shelter us from the rain so we can rehearse in all weathers. And we have the chickens and deer come along and watch our rehearsals!”
All performances are relaxed with integrated Sign Supported English. You can find accessibility tools at: www.jellyfishtheatre.com
Thanks to funding from Frome Town Council and Arts Council England, admission is free and all are welcome.
