THE THIRD Frome super-market is set to get under way this Sunday with thousands of people expected to turn up to the town centre event.
Frome super-market is set to take place on Sunday 2nd of September from 10.00am-2.00pm. It is the last of three pilot markets, designed to increase footfall through the centre of Frome.
The Frome super-market is a combination of the Frome Flea Market, Artisan Market and Mendip District Council’s Frome People’s Market.
Thousands of people turned up to the first and second super-markets, with people visiting from all across the Southwest.
Stuart Finney, operational assets manager at Mendip District Council said. “Apart from a few concerns over the road closure, the overall feedback from the day has been very positive.
“We have arranged for more shops to be open on the Sundays, which we believe will enhance the shopping experience.”
