The Cheese and Grain will see local guitar hero, Eddie Martin, present his new album ‘Thirst,’on February 21st.
Just released but already rave-reviewed, the album features strong songwriting and a high-octane blend of rocking slide guitar and blues. So be prepared for a sweaty thirsty workout. But there is also some shade alongside the bright lights and on the album’s slower, lighter-waving anthems Eddie has been working with Frome’s community choir, Jackdaws Songbirds, who will guest with the band at The Cheese and Grain show only.
Eddie has been shortlisted as Best Guitarist of 2019 by Music Republic Magazine and was last year’s European Blues Award winner as Solo Artist. So be prepared for the best sounds around – with some surprises!
Support is from up-and-coming one-man-band Paul Woodley.
