Edventure Frome is offering a series of workshops and courses aimed at meeting the needs of local groups, charities and enterprises, who form part of the economic and social fabric of Frome.
The focus is on developing the relevant knowledge and skills needed to maintain and develop the high standard of work being done in the town by these remarkable, often unseen, people.
Edventure is working in Partnership with Frome Town Council and bursaries are available to those individuals and groups who need financial assistance. Neil Oliver, Edventure Director said, “I am really exited we can offer this to groups in Frome that can’t afford to take advantage of commercially available training. These groups are often overlooked, but provide an essential service to the town and its people.”
Here is some of what’s on offer;-
• Join a coaching circle to reflect on your challenges and get input from other local professionals.
• Learn how to effectively work with groups and chair meetings
• Be inspired about how to resolve conflicts in teams and organisations with Jo Berry (Founder of Building Bridges for Peace)
• Get useful tools for planning community enterprises and projects.
