Members of the Frome Musical Theatre Company (FMTC) have been celebrating after they picked up three awards at the National Operatic and Dramatic Association (NODA) South West Awards Evening for three of their productions from last year.
The NODA is a regional awards ceremony that recognises excellence at amateur theatre companies from across the southwest
FMTC’s Shrek the musical won the District Achievement Award; the Disney’s Little Mermaid picked up the Haselemere Award for Visual Excellence, and the June Barker Memorial Cup for Best Large Pantomime was awarded for Cinderella.
“A group of representatives from each production a wonderful event in Plymouth to mark the occasion and were thrilled to come away with three awards,” said Sarah Bolton from FMTC. “We are looking forward to forthcoming productions Calamity Jane, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs and Anything Goes!”
