FROME Town FC fought back from two goals down to secure a point on a tricky away day at Bideford.
Goals from Simpson and Ollis helped secure a point to bring back to the Hill.
The first half started brightly for the Robins with Ollis and Witcombe getting in early chances to put Frome in front. With Witcombe breaking through, his one-on-one was saved by goalkeeper Seedhouse-Evans.
Mannings then came close to opening the scoring with a chip that was pushed over the bar. However Bideford grew into the match and on 36 minutes, Carey had a moment to forget as a misplaced pass across the goal was picked up 6 yards out by Wilson who put Bideford in front.
The second half saw Frome fell further behind as a cross come shot was parried into the roof of the net by Carey, with Bideford looking the much stronger side.
Manager Danny Greaves rang the chances to bring on Davies, Peck and Lenihan, and shortly after Kane Simpson scrambled in his 9th league goal of the season to cut the deficit.
The goal sparked a frantic final 30 minutes with a flurry of chances at both ends. On 79 minutes, the equaliser came after Davies delivered a peach of a cross for Ollis to finish.
The game continued on in a frantic fashion with big chances for both sides. At the death Davies fired in another cross that Ollis headed straight at the keeper.
Both sides will feel that they could have found a winner, but at 2-0 Bideford will feel the game was there to be won. A great game for the neutral, definitive not one for the coaches.
