Are you interested in finding out about what is available in your community connected to health and wellbeing? Would you be keen to pass this information on to people in your workplace, social group, friends, family and neighbours? Why not become a community connector?
“The more people there are that know about the support that is available in the community, the more we can all support each other,” says Julie Carey-Downes of Health Connections.
“Living and feeling better starts with a simple step; connecting. There is so much going on in your community that can support you with health and well being, many of these things are free or low cost, for example support groups, services run by local voluntary organisations, peer support groups and free exercise opportunities.
“Come along to our next fun and informative training session on Monday 13th November, 1.00pm until 2.30pm at Frome Town Hall.
“Booking is essential, but the event is free and open to anyone who is interested in this workshop.”
