Tri.art’s Amy Maughan and Claudia Pepler like to keep their students busy by giving them as many opportunities as possible to perform; providing a chance to showcase skills they have learnt in class, whilst giving them valuable performance experience.
In addition to running their regular classes Amy and Claudia are currently working on three large-scale productions for performance over the spring and summer months.
This year’s full-length dance show is an original adaptation of Peter Pan. The audience can expect beautifully choreographed story telling, gorgeous costumes and set, enhanced by superb lighting to create a striking professional production.
The show will utilise all the different genres of dance taught by Amy and her team including ballet, contemporary, and tap with a few surprises thrown in to ensure that this production will delight and enthral audiences of all ages.
The company are thrilled to have won for the second year in a run Best Youth Production for their 2018 summer school production of In The Heights. Two of the cast members – Olli Edwards and Millie Weare also came home as winners from the Somerset Fellowship of Drama David Beach Awards.
