As part of its silver anniversary celebrations, Frome Festival is launching a silver jewellery online auction featuring bespoke pieces from skilled jewellers across the town.
There will be 12 pieces available for anyone to bid on, with all proceeds going towards Frome Festival.
Pieces include a silver circle pendant in the shape of the stone circle at Heaven’s Gate by Ellie Swinhoe, a bespoke pendant inspired by Frome Festival’s colour scheme by Clare Lloyd and a bamboo leaf silver necklace by Daniel Musselwhite a finalist in BBC’s talent show ‘All That Glitters: Britain’s Next Jewellery Star’.

You can also bid on a silver quill lapel by Christina Oswin, normally reserved for the winner of the Crysse Morrison Prize for Poetry.
Frome Festival Trustee Rosie Eliot, said, “The pieces of jewellery are all unique and beautiful. There really is something for everyone, whether people are buying gifts for friends and family or treating themselves to a unique piece of silver.”
The Silver Auction forms part of Frome Festival’s broader ‘25 for 25’ anniversary fundraising campaign, aimed at ensuring the festival can continue to offer accessible events throughout July despite rising financial pressures.

There is also a popular monthly trivia quiz at the Cheese and Grain Café, which typically sells out fast, with more fundraising events set to be announced soon.
The Silver Auction will open for bids on Friday 17th April and closes on Sunday 26th April. To find out more and make a bid, visit fromefestival.co.uk/silverauction
