This week at the Fair Frome Food Bank, urgent requirements are for the following:-
Tinned hot meat, sauces for rice, pulses, tinned pasta and tinned snacks, coffee, milk cereal bars, soup, shampoo and custard.
The need for furniture and household goods has increased considerably. Organisers say, “We are particularly desperate for the following:- Both single and double beds, duvets and bedding for both sizes, smaller sofas, single chairs, chests of drawers and wardrobes.

(The local food bank continues to be very important in our town. Being able to place a regular article in your newspaper is very helpful and much appreciated by us.)
There are food collection boxes in Asda, Sainsbury’s, Frome Funeral Care at Badcox, Barnardo’s, Frome Whole Foods, Westway Co-op, Tesco Express, the Cheese & Grain and now Budgens food store at the Commerce Park Service Station, Southgate.
