A SUPPORT group for patients with atrial fibrillation (AF) is meeting on 28th September at 1.30pm via Zoom.
Facilitated by cardiac physiologist Helen Hodgson, the Frome AF support group offers information about AF and the opportunity for patients and carers to share experiences.
Helen says “People diagnosed with AF often have many questions. My aim is to help provide them with the knowledge they need to support each other through their own experiences.”

Arrhythmias (heart rhythm disorders) affect over two million people in the UK and atrial fibrillation (AF) is the most common arrhythmia. People aged 40 and over have a one in four lifetime risk of developing AF and an increased risk of a life threatening AF-related stroke – the most severe type of stroke.
