Are you exhausted pouring from an empty cup? Struggling with your physical health or emotional wellbeing? A carer or supporting others? It’s not selfish to take time out to help yourself to stay well! Can we help you?
2019 saw the launch of Wellbeing Frome @The Cheese &GRAIN and already 2020 has seen this initiative develop with the launch of Wellbeing Frome @The Good Heart.
Wellbeing Frome is a community group helping to support people in Frome to access complementary and natural therapies, no matter their income. They say, “We are encouraging those who have previously not experienced natural therapies, either because they are unaware of them or due to financial constraints, to come and experience the benefits for themselves.
“Natural therapies are particularly helpful to achieve balance in daily living with stress-related problems, to help achieve relaxation, for aches and pains and long term health conditions. These therapies may be used alongside modern medicine.
“On the first Saturday of each month, Wellbeing Frome @ The Cheese & Grain hosts an event upstairs from 1.30-4.30pm.
“The next two dates are: Saturday 1st February and Saturday 7th March.
“Practitioners offer sessions and workshops. Previous events had 1:1 sessions of Reiki& energy balancing, Shiatsu, cranial sacral therapy, tongue and pulse diagnosis, live blood analysis and homeopathy. Talks and workshops have covered mindfulness, sleep health, acupressure and the Feldenkrais technique.
“Some wonderful feedback has been received on our comment slips of which these are just a few from December’s event:
“Lovely. So relaxed afterwards”
“So needed this!”
“I’m beyond happy”
“It was excellent, I really appreciate the opportunity ”
“Wellbeing Frome @ The Good Heart offer sessions on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday of the first and third week of the month.
“Wednesday appointments are for touch, movement and relaxation therapies, Thursdays are to see the herbalist and Fridays for Reiki. Appointments are made in person by speaking to our team member in the cafe on the days when any of the different the therapists are working, between 10am and 1pm. We will happily discuss what’s on offer and help you to choose.
“Please come along. If you have already benefitted from a treatment or consultation please spread the word. All very welcome!
