A TALK about wildfowl and wading birds will be held in Frome later this month.
The talk ‘Wildfowl and Wading Birds on Steart Marshes’ will be given by senior conservation warden at the Wildfowl and Wetland Trust, Alys Laver. Alys will speak at St Catherine’s Church Hall on Park Road from 7.30pm to 9pm on Thurs day 30th March.
The talk will outline how the newly-created wetland reserve provides salt-water marshes and fresh-water wetlands for wading birds and wildfowl, an accessible area for public interest and enjoyment, as well as protecting Steart village from flooding.
