APPLICATIONS are now open for the next group of Frome Carnival ambassadors, five vital roles that will help to promote a number of events throughout the year.
This year’s Carnival ambassadors will be chosen during the Carnival Fun Day on Saturday 2nd June.
Ambassadors play a vital role in supporting the Carnival – helping to promote the Carnival at events and supporting their ever important fundraising.
Ambassadors will attend a number of events throughout the year including the annual duck race, the Christmas extravaganza, visiting care homes in the local area and of course have a starring role in the procession itself!
Organisers say, “Ambassadors must be aged seven or above – there is no upper age limit and we welcome applications from all ages. Ambassadors can be male or female and must live in the local area.
“If you, or your child, would like to apply fill in the application form on their website. Five ambassadors will be chosen by a panel of independent judges during the Fun Day after being asked a number of questions about the role.”
