THE Cheese and Grain again gets ready for a Wrestling Spectacular on Sunday 12th June as CSF Professional Wrestling returns to Frome with another action-packed edition of Showdown!’.
CSF have been holding their live wrestling events in Frome for 18 years and have brought many international names to town, including former WWE Champion Mr. Anderson, NJPW superstar Hirono Takahashi, ‘Masterpiece’ Chris Masters, Doug Williams and currant WWE star MVP!
“The event in June will see over two hours of bone-crunching, high-flying, action-packed family entertainment take place as the larger-than-life giants from the world of wrestling arrive in town,” says the organisers. “Can we thank local fans for their amazing support all these years and promise another huge event!”
The Main Event will see a Triple Threat bout take place as reigning and defending All Nations Champion, ‘Unique’ Jake McCluskey faces not only former champion Eddie Ryan, but also the ever unpopular ‘Professor’ Gilligan Gordon! McCluskey won the prestigious title back in February and has made several defences already. On June 12th he faces the biggest challenge yet in the Triple Threat.
Other names set to do battle include top new names to town as the man mountain Bullitt appears here for the very first time, as does Bobby Vegas. Also in action will be The Fox, Bane ‘n’ Bronson, Axel Carter and JD Knight.
The doors open at 4:30pm, with Showtime at 5pm and finish time of 7:30pm. Again, there will be a chance to meet all the wrestlers after the event, where fans can collect photographs and autographs.
