A CHARITY yoga day will take place on Saturday 26th September to celebrate International Peace Day and everyone is welcome.
The event which will take place at Frome Scout Hut between 10.30am-2.45pm, is raising money for Bristol-based charity, Yoga for Peace which supports three charities; Women for Women, Child Victims of War and Freedom from Torture.
Organiser Kat Bayly said, “People should come along for the day to meet new people, see the different sorts of yoga available in and around Frome and to help raise money for a really worthy cause.
“Frome is a very supportive and lovely little town and it would be great to see it come together as a community once more to make a difference to those less fortunate than us.”
There will be various workshops and classes going on throughout the day, plus a performance from Frome Bhajans.
Kat continued, “It is open to all abilities, from the person who’s never tried yoga before, to the experienced practitioner. There is something for everyone.”
Tickets are £6 per event (family yoga £10) and a whole day ticket is £25. Please bring your own equipment. For more information, call Kat on 07729 441680 or email kalindiyoga@outlook.com
