YOUNG filmmakers, David and Julia Jagielski, have made another film about Frome – this time showing off the popular Food Feast as part of Frome Festival.
Siblings David and Julia have started on a filming journey, creating videos about their home town of Frome. They started with a walk about the town and then decided to film the Food Feast, which took place outside the Cheese & Grain on Saturday 6th July.
They both showed the variety of different foods on offer, even tasting things for the first time on camera! They also helped out with a litter pick around the area, organised by Hope Frome.
They also filmed another video at The Independent Market on Sunday 7th July, which will be available to view soon.
Their mother, Marta, said, “The film was posted on YouTube on Monday 8th July and nearly 400 people have watched it so far. The Frome film they had made before has over 1,200 views at the moment. We didn’t realise there would be such great interest in these films.
“The Frome Festival organisers asked me if they could share the Food Feast film on their Facebook page. They loved it.
“We also filmed The Independent Market on Sunday but we have lots of material, so it will take a few days to put everything together. There was so much going on there, lots of things to see and film (and buy!), and so many lovely and friendly people.
“David and Julia spoke to a couple of people while filming the Food Feast. They are getting a little braver. The funny thing is, the highlight of the evening was helping with litter collection/picking.”
