OAKFIELD Academy student, Albie Stuart, set up a cafe in his garden selling homemade goods to raise money for FAST (Frome Autistic Support Team) in support of his older brother who has autism.
Morag Stuart, Albie’s mum said, “He spent a few days during the Easter holidays clearing out the junk in our summer house and cleaning. He used the furniture from our house to set up his cafe.
“He and I spent a couple of days making lots of cakes. The cafe was on Easter Saturday. Luckily it was a really sunny day as we had so many customers. They were able to sit out in the garden too. We advertised it on Facebook and Instagram to friends, family and locals.
“Albie managed to raise £294 for the charity.”
