To celebrate the resurfacing on the Pump track, young people are working with SRYP (Somerset Rural Youth Project) and Mendip YMCA to organise a Pump Jam.
The event will take place on Saturday 21st March, 12.00midday-4.00pm at Welshmill Park. Free entry – suggested £2 donation.
The event is part of the week long celebration of cycling and being active; in association with Sustrans, Frome’s Missing Link, Frome Children’s Festival, and Frome Active.
The Pump Jam will include: Time trials, prizes, food & drink, sound system, DJ’s & MC’s, TAG Graffiti Workshop.
Come along and test your skills at the Pump Track, Welshmill Park, Frome. This is for riders of every age and level. For entry forms and more info go to face book.com/frome-activities-project. Entrants must be submitted by 11.00am on the day.
REMEMBER! No helmet no ride. All riders must wear a helmet if taking part in the time trials.
This is a youth led project run and organised by young people of Frome. Get involved by engaging with them at Welshmill Park, Tuesdays 3.30-5.30pm and Victoria Park, Thursdays 3.30-5.30pm.
