OVER 120 people joined Frome-based Zumba instructor Gina Fry at the Cheese and Grain for their annual Zumba Party on Friday 7th December.
The event was raising funds for Positive Action on Cancer and the evening totalled £3,050.
The evening started with a session for young people and was then followed by masterclass, dance battles and a fitness party. A few attendees also bravely took to the stage to help with the fundraising. The evening was high energy and the attendees all had a fantastic time.
The event was kindly supported by the Frome branch of Barclays Bank who kindly matched the amount raised to bring the final total to £3,050.
Kelly Hall, fundraiser at PAC said, “A big thank you to Gina, her team and the kind staff at Barclays in Frome. We were so delighted to hear that the party was a success and raised so much money. It currently costs us around £3,000 a week to run the service at PAC so the money raised really will make a big difference to our work.”
Gina has been teaching fitness in Frome for over 20 years, and now specialises in teaching Zumba Fitness classes. She runs her own studio called BODYbasics at Frome Football Club, as well as teaching classes at Frome College and Selwood School.
