SINCE the Festival Box Office opened there has been a tremendous rush to book tables for the Frome Festival Quiz at the Rugby Football Club on Thursday 7th July.
Organisers say, “We are not sure whether this is because people in Frome, having seen Paul Hewitt’s memorable performance on The Chase are keen to see him in the flesh as it were or simply because those who have enjoyed the evening in past years can’t wait to repeat the experience.
“After all, tables cost just £12 per group of 4 – where else can you experience a fun-packed evening for £3 a head?
“Whatever the reasons for this unprecedented rush, the Rugby Club has kindly agreed to extend the capacity of the evening from the usual 20 tables to 25.
“If you hurry you may still be lucky to book a table for an evening with dynamic quiz master Paul. The bar will be open throughout the event, plus there will be the usual raffle with prizes donated by local businesses. See you there?”
