A CHILDREN’S Trust that aims to support orphaned children in Kenya, is hosting a charity meal at The River House in Frome on Saturday 18th August to raise money for their feeding programme.
MAMA Upendo Children’s Trust, who support 55 children at an orphanage in Kitui province, Kenya, are hosting the meal which includes homemade African dishes made by Mama Sarah including coconut rice, plantain, fried chicken and more, plus a selection of desserts.
The cost is £20 per person for two courses with vegetarian and vegan options available. There is also a range of African cocktails, Tusker beer and African Fanta on sale. All proceeds will go to the registered charity, and continue their feeding programme, improving the lives of the children who live in poverty.
