FROME Friends of Palestine say they are delighted to welcome writer, Robert Cohen, to speak about the relationship between Judaism, Zionism and Jewry on both sides of the Atlantic, and how it is changing.
They say, “Robert is one of Britain’s leading dissident Jewish voices. His blog ‘Writing from the Edge’ has a global following and is regularly republished by Mondoweiss and Jewish Voice for Labour.
“He is currently researching changing UK Jewish identity in the context of Israel/Palestine for a doctorate at King’s College London. He is chair of Trustees at Amos Trust.”
The talk is on Thursday 21st April, at Holy Trinity Church Hall, Frome and starts at 7.30pm. Tickets are £5 from Eventbrite or on the door.
