Local artist Giles Hall will be holding an exhibition of some of his work at Cafe la Strada until 31st December.
Giles said, “I’m a retired head gardener and have been painting for the last seven or eight years, mainly in oils.
“The work in the exhibition comprises mostly local landscapes around the Deverills and Frome with the accent on snow scenes to give it a seasonal flavour.
“The works range from small 8″ x 6″ canvases, which have proved very popular at recent Frome Festival Open Studios and Hidden Gardens events, to larger 36″ x 24″ scenes and prices range from £70 to £500.”
The exhibition runs until December 31st and is on both floors at La Strada open every day.
