ARTIST David Moss returns to the Silk Mill, Frome, in June with another exhibition of his paintings.
After leaving university in 1972 with a degree in fine art the need to earn a living meant that he had to put aspirations of personal creative development on the back burner.
A few decades later he’s found time to indulge his passion and has been persuaded to show his work; the success of the first show in 2015 has encouraged him to have this second exhibition.
He said, “All my paintings have started with nature; both internal and external observations of our world – landscapes, events – and the memories that follow. Whilst not overly representational, it is the more obvious images that lead me to greater abstraction. All these paintings owe something to one another as pointers to developing ideas.” He said.
