ARTISTS in Dialogue, the ongoing art project between Frome-based and Ukrainian artists are showcasing their work at Rook Lane Chapel during the upcoming Frome Kindness Festival in March.
The HOPE НАДІЯ exhibition by 12 artists, some displaced within Ukraine and across Europe is the second major exhibition for the project group. By invitation of Frome Kindness Festival with generous support from NVB Architects, the exhibition will open on Saturday 16th March with a preview evening – a community celebration of performance; music, song and spoken word.
HOPE НАДІЯ Exhibition will take place in the Rook Lane Chapel from 18th March to 24th March, daily from 10.30am to 4pm – free entry. The preview evening and community celebration will take place on Saturday 16th March from 6.30pm to 8.30pm. Entry by donation, book at www.thegoodheart.uk
“Martin Scott, Frome’s new town crier is to officially open the evening, followed by talented members of Frome’s Ukrainian community who will share the stage with local performers of all ages in celebration of hope!’ explained Karin Campagna, exhibition coordinator and artist.
It’s a chance to meet the Frome-based artists to hear more about their ambitious project that began in July 2022 to support Ukrainian artists, inspire broader dialogue through art and promote a deeper understanding of the ongoing war in Ukraine.
