THE annual Frome Medical Practice Autumn Fayre is once again set to take place, this year on Saturday 30th September.
The event is taking place at the Frome Medical Centre building at Enos Way.
The fayre opens its doors at 10.30am and will be running until 3.30pm. As well as the Lions Club with Thomas the Tank Engine, also present at the fayre this year will be the matron, Hayley Hughes, together with others from her team at the adjacent Frome Community Hospital.
One of the organisers of the event is Jazz Grey of the Frome Medical Practice who said, “This year’s event should be particularly good fun. Not only will there be loads of stalls selling all sorts of things, but also food outlets and great entertainment as well.”
Half of this year’s proceeds from the event will be going to Frome Community Cars’ volunteer driver scheme, a service which aims to help those within the Frome area who would otherwise find it difficult to get to medical appointments and community activities. The remainder of the proceeds will go towards buying new medical equipment needed within the practice.
There are still a few places left for anyone to set up a stall at the fayre. Enquiries should be directed to eventsfmp@hotmail.com.
