FROME Selwood Bowling Club celebrated the 2021 season last month at their annual presentation evening.
The club reports, “At the conclu- sion of another successful bowling season Frome Selwood Bowling Club held their annual presentation dinner at the Masonic Hall in Frome on Friday 19th November.
“Members and their guests sat down to an enjoyable meal after which the club president Mike Geake
presented the winners and runners up with their trophies.
“The night concluded with a disco, which by the end most members had found their way to the dance floor. The club members would like to thank the staff at the hall for their val- ued support and also club secretary Mike Bishop for organising the evening.”
The 2021 competition winners are: Men’s Singles Championship – Steve Chant; Ladies’ Singles Cham-
pionship – Vera Ford; Men’s Two Wood Singles – Colin Hinvest; Ladies’ Two Wood Singles – Susan Simenton; Men’s 4 Wood Pairs – Terry Joyce and David James; Ladies’ 4 Wood Pairs – Susan Simen- ton and Elaine Gilburt; Men’s 2 Wood Pairs – Mike Mason and Steve Chant; Mixed Handicap – Steve Chant; Mixed Triples – Kathy King- man, Jean Lemon and Percy Reynolds; Ladies’ Invitation – Kathy Kingman and Ray Ashman.
