Frome College had a record number of 25 students enter this year’s Rotary Young Photographer competition, which was themed ‘Reflection’.
Members of the Rotary Club of Frome said they found the judging very difficult as the quality of the work was so high.
After much deliberation, the winner was Tilly Higgins in Year 12, Chloe Tawse in Year 13 came second and Ruby Hyde, also in Year 13, came third.
Highly Commended Awards went to Blythe Plenderleith and Jess Billet in Year 13.
Tilly will now be entered into the Rotary’s district competition where, if successful, she will go through to the national finals.
The college’s Jane Davis said, “Our congratulations and thanks go to everyone who entered the competition, which produced an outstanding exhibition, and to everyone who continues to support Frome College.”
