Students from years nine and ten at Frome College travelled to the Ardeche and Italy this month on a watersports and outdoor activities trip.
College spokesperson Jane Davis said, “The group thoroughly enjoyed camping in Villeneuve in Italy and Savane in the south of France.
“The students participated in an action-packed schedule of activities over the eight day trip including white water rafting, rock climbing, gorge scrambling, kayaking, caving, river trekking, abseiling, archery, raft building, hill walking and high ropes. The highlight of the trip was a two day descent of the Ardeche River, which is known as France’s ‘Grand Canyon’.
“Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the trip and said they would love to return to the area.”
