Mendip Community Credit Union, a well-known local community organisation encouraging savings and providing affordable loans, is having to close the service point which was held on Thursdays in the Key Centre, Frome.
However, a second service point is to be held on Wednesdays in Frome Library, starting on 20th March, with the same opening hours as on a Saturday, 10.00am to 12.00pm. There are also service points in Shepton Mallet, Wells, Glastonbury and Street.
