FROME Community Lottery has presented around £4,000 in grants to local community organisations.
At their annual grant presentation evening, the Trustees of the Frome Community Lottery presented grants to seven organisations; Frome Museum, Frome Memorial Theatre, Foreground, the Loops Music Project, Positive Action on Cancer (PAC), Frome Ladies Football Club and the Witham Friary Church restoration fund, on Tuesday 13th of November.
The value of the grants ranged from under £100 to £1,000, funded completely by the proceeds of the Frome Lottery.
Chair of the Trustees, Sue Worringham said, “It is great to see that we are able to support so many different projects aimed at improving facilities for the people of Frome and the local area. This has only been possible thanks to the continued support of the many local people who regularly play the Frome Community Lottery.”
Joining forms are available from the library or on the Trust’s website www. fromecommunitytrust.btck.co.uk.
The Trust is looking for local people willing to give up three or four evenings a year to stand as Trustees of the lottery. To find out more, please contact Sue on 01373 462431.
