CHARITY Somerset Sight is looking for a volunteer to visit a lady in the Frome area who is blind.
If you have a little time to spare and would like to make a real difference to somebody’s life please, why not be a volunteer visitor for Somerset Sight.
The charity is looking for volunteer visitors in the Frome area. One of the people they have is a lovely lady in her 50s who has total sight loss and lives in Frome, she would very much like the regular company of a local volunteer.
If you have one or two hours per week or fortnight available please get in touch with on 01643 708382 or contact Gloria at our main office on 01823 366146. We will support you well and reimburse all your reasonable expenses.
Somerset Sight is the only local Independent Charity supporting people with sight loss in Somerset. Substantial sight loss can have a devastating impact on people’s lives and increases feelings of loneliness and isolation, even the simplest things such as reading the post, making a cup of tea or going for a walk are made extremely difficult.
