A charity comedy night raising money for Frome’s Daryl Allinson is taking place this Thursday, 22nd September at The Granary at the George Hotel.
The MC for the evening is Bristol favourite George Rigdon, freshly back from his hugely successful run at the Edinburgh Fringe.
He will be presenting comedy acts from Bob Wildlife, BBC newcomer runner-up, the hilarious and heartwarming Jeremy Flynn, and the hugely entertaining Wayne the Weird.
Organiser and local woman Violet Von Riot, said “Every penny raised from the evening will go straight to Daryl Allinson, with the performers and staff giving up their time to create a truly astounding event for Frome, for the most worthwhile of causes.”
All money raised from the evening will go towards the private treatment for Daryl Allinson, 13, who was refused funding by the NHS for his rare form of leukaemia. His family and friends have already raised over £80,000 with the help of the people of Frome and further afield.
